Ellen DeGeneres’ brother, Vance, recently tweeted a sentiment I never heard until a few years ago and it goes like this: No good deed goes unpunished.
WHAT? WAIT. Record Scratch Sound.
No. The truth is: No good deed goes unrewarded. Our understanding of the deed or the reward is irrelevant. And, the words we speak create the home in which we live. So, note to self, watch what you say and how when you change what you say things change.
